WHO AM I?

Who am I? That is a very big question that probably most of us have been wondering about at one point or another. Sometimes we can wonder who we are as children, at least when we're going through puberty and are growing up to become a young man or a young woman. This was the case for me in any case. I sometimes even felt confused about who I was or who God was and about other things as a teenager. Now many years later I've gone through a lot of change when it comes to how I see myself and my view on who I am and what I can say about myself.  I used to see myself as a girl and later a woman, and I saw myself as a Norwegian. I saw myself as a writer even when I was a child, because I really liked to write and wanted to write books as a grown up. I saw myself as a sister, a daughter and a granddaughter. MY BLOG HAS GOT A NEW NAME NOW!

Hi, everyone. :) My blog has got a new name now, as I've just changed it. Practically it happened already on Friday evening in a way, because then I followed up on the idea I got while writing my previous blog text, namely to use the banner I couldn't use on my YouTube channel page here on my blog instead, and it worked to use that banner here, and by doing so I basically changed my blog name from "Shining My Light" to "Rudydudy | Shining My Light", but right before starting on writing this blog text, I also changed it formally inside of my Blogger account. For those of you who have paid well attention, my YouTube related blog now has the same name as my YouTube channel. They are now both called "Rudydudy | Shining My Light". I find this to be a very suitable situation and believe as my mentor M. Rayhan believes that it will create a stronger brand for me to have the same name on both my YouTube channel and my YouTube related blog. This is also a w...

I'VE RE-LAUNCHED MY CHANNEL!

Hi, everyone. :) Last week I re-launched my YouTube channel with many updates, including a new channel name which was "Rudydudy | Shining My Light". Yuhoo! :D It was very exciting and a very good experience for me to re-launch my channel with many updates, and one of the updates I was mostly excited about was the new channel name. This name represents me and my main mission here on earth to put things simply: I'm here to shine my light. :) I chose to call myself Rudydudy, which is one of my nicknames privately, on YouTube, partly because this name is a name I believe will be easier for people to remember, and therefore when I use this name as a part of my channel name, people will probably remember my channel name easier too. Also, I thought my nickname Rudydudy was more playful and fun filled than my real name Ruth Kristin, and I thought it fitted very well to my bubbly personality which I often show a lot of on YouTube, so I felt it was a very good idea to call myself R...

I'VE HAD A BREAKTHROUGH DAY!

Hi, everyone! This last day that has just gone by I've had a breakthrough day as a YouTuber and gained lots of new subscribers since the day before! Yuhoo! :D My YouTube day started with finding out I had gone from 454 subscribers the day before to now having 472 subscribers. I had never experienced seeing such a big jump in my subscribers count in just some hours before, so it was very fun and very exciting for me. It made me wonder what was going on, but I guessed it had a lot to do with some changes I'd made on my channel recently. The thing is, I some days ago started getting direct help with my channel from a new YouTube mentor who now is someone who helps me to improve my channel and will do so for free for a little while. Not only did I get a lot of new subscribers this last day, but I also got a lot of views on many of my videos, including my newest long-form video, which is a video that presents an original Norwegian impro song. I'VE JUMPED INTO IT!

Hi, everyone! I've jumped into this blog writing, and I've jumped into it many times when I've created YouTube videos over the last weeks and months. Actually I've jumped into it most of the time when I've created a YouTube video since I started my YouTube channel. :) I enjoy jumping into things when it comes to creating things, like YouTube videos, and I think you know what I mean with jumping into things. I have just immediately started improvising or creating something in the now, like when I've created a YouTube video where I've shown what I've been in the middle of doing or what situation I've been in, in the now. Yes, I've just jumped into it in the sense of just suddenly starting to improvise and create something in the now without first planning what to do or what to say or what to sing. I'VE BEEN LIFING

Hi, everyone! 😊 How are you doing? I hope you're all fine and that you as an individual reading this is fine. 😊 You might have wondered where I've been or why you haven't seen any blog posts from me in a bit long, and if so, I can understand that, as it's now over two weeks ago since I last wrote a blog text here on my new blog. The thing is I actually wanted to blog here six days a week, and I was planning on blogging here on the 6th of February, but late that evening when I still hadn't come around to doing any blogging yet, I got some very sad news that took over my focus, and then I didn't come around to blogging that evening, and then I've kept on having a lot to deal with often, after that, and I just haven't come around to doing any blogging until now. I'M A CREATOR

Hi, my reader! How are you? I hope you're fine. 😊 I'm a creator, and so are you, actually. Did you know that? We're all creators in one way or another. Actually we are creators in at least one way: We are co creators of our own reality. We are influencing our own lives and how our lives will become by how we live our lives, by how we think, by how we speak and by the actions we take in our lives. For example, if you say something uplifting to someone else, you're building up someone and maybe also their self esteem, and this will also strengthen your relationship to the individual you said something uplifting to afterwards.
